How Much Does it Cost To Rent A Bounce House?

The cost to rent a bounce house typically ranges from about $150 to $400 depending on the size of the inflatable, the type of attraction, and the length of the rental. Basic bounce houses are usually the most affordable option, while larger combo bounce houses, water slides, and obstacle courses may cost more.

Pricing can also vary based on delivery distance, event duration, and the specific inflatable you choose. Many customers rent bounce houses for birthday parties, school events, church functions, and neighborhood celebrations.

How far in advance should you reserve an inflatable bouncy house?

A.

We recommend reserving your bounce house rental as early as possible, especially during busy seasons like spring, summer, and major holidays. Many popular inflatables book out weeks in advance for weekends, school events, and neighborhood parties.

Booking early ensures you get the exact inflatable you want and guarantees availability for your event date. However, if your event is coming up soon, feel free to contact us anyway. We often have last-minute availability and are happy to help make your event a success.

What are your bounce house rental rain and bad weather policy?

A.

Fun Times Party Rental reserves the right to make any final decisions in cancelling a bounce house rental due to inclement weather. This would include 20 mph sustained winds and can include but does not have to include higher gust, 70% or higher chance of rain, and/or temperatures below 40° F.

As long as it's not lightning, thundering, heavy rains, or winds do not exceed 20 mph, we PLAN to deliver and set up our jumpers for rent. If you choose for us to come payment is due upon delivery, we DO NOT refund any charges.

If you choose to cancel the moonwalk rental please let us know by 6am the morning of your event. We will be happy to work with you to reschedule your reservation with no cost or penalty,

ALL payments made will be held as a raincheck for a future rental.

We will try to work with you the day of your bounce castle rental if threatening weather is present or approaching. Fun Times Party Rental reserves the right to cancel any reservation or portion of a reservation or shut down an event early due to inclement weather, unsafe, unclean, or unfit area for unit, or any other situation that the company deems dangerous or jeopardizes safety in any way or is not in the best interest of the company or users.

Q.

Do inflatable bounce houses need electricity?

A.

Yes, bounce houses require electricity to stay inflated during use. Each inflatable rental includes a powerful blower that runs continuously while the bounce house is in operation. The blower keeps air circulating through the inflatable so it stays fully inflated and safe for children to enjoy.

Most bounce house blowers use a standard household outlet (110–120 volts), the same type of outlet you would use for typical home appliances. For best performance, the blower should be plugged directly into a dedicated outlet using the extension cord provided by our team.

If your event location does not have electricity available—such as at a park, field, or outdoor venue—no problem! A generator can be used to power the blower. Many customers choose to rent a generator for park parties, school events, festivals, and other outdoor celebrations.

How Many Kids Can Fit In a Bounce House

A.

The number of children that can safely play in a bounce house depends on the size of the inflatable and the age of the participants. Most standard bounce houses can safely accommodate 5–8 children at one time when they are similar in size and age. Larger inflatables or combo bounce houses may allow more participants.

For safety, it is important to avoid overcrowding and to separate smaller children from larger kids during play. Our team provides clear safety guidelines during setup to ensure everyone enjoys the inflatable safely. How Much Space Is Needed for a Bounce House?

A.

Most standard bounce houses require a setup area of approximately 15–20 feet wide and 15–20 feet deep, along with additional space around the inflatable for safety and the blower. It is also important to have adequate vertical clearance free of tree branches, power lines, or other obstacles.

Before you book, feel free to check out the product page where it shows the actual dimension of the inflatable as well as the space needed to set ut up.  Dont forget to measure up as that's something generally forgotten about.  Feel free to call with any questions you still have.

What type of areas are you able set units up on? Concrete, Grass, Indoors?

A.

You can put inflatable bouncy houses on grass, cement, or pavement, but not on rocky or sharp areas. Please ensure that you remove all toys, doggie droppings, and any loose items from the set up area. Also remember, bounce houses move from side to side, we cannot set up close to barriers (such as fences or walls) either.

Delivery and setup staff CANNOT navigate stairs, hills, etc. The setup location must be easily reachable for the delivery truck and within 50 yards of their vehicle.

Are bounce houses safe for kids?

A.

As long as you follow the rules, bounce houses are safe.

So grab a chair and watch your children entertain themselves for hours (and hopefully, they will sleep all night). We also do our part in reducing the possibility of injuries.

Safety is our number one concern. Our jump houses are always equipped with:

- Secure double stitched safety netting keeping kids in the bounce area

- Safe flame retardant 18 oz heavy duty PVC vinyl

- Safety step at entrance of jump house for safe entry and exit

We are also a member and hold an advanced safety certificate from Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization (www.sioto.com) and take pride in going the extra mile in ensuring safety. We are part of industry and local organizations that focus on responsible business growth and well-being in the rental industry.

Fun Times install technicians are properly trained and carry a safety-checklists. These are completed every time a bounce house is installed.

We also carry insurance and are certified as required by the State of Texas for inflatable rental companies. Ask for a copy if needed.

Do Bounce Houses Need Adult Supervision?

A.

Yes, adult supervision is always recommended when children are playing in a bounce house. An adult should be present to monitor safe play, make sure children follow the safety rules, and prevent overcrowding inside the inflatable.

Supervisors should also ensure that children remove shoes, avoid rough play, and enter and exit the inflatable safely. Proper supervision helps prevent accidents and keeps everyone having fun.

For larger events like school functions or community festivals, some organizers choose to assign volunteers or staff members to monitor the inflatable throughout the event.

Are Bounce Houses Cleaned and Sanitized Between Rentals?

A.

Yes. All of our bounce houses are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between every rental. We inspect each inflatable after pickup and use professional cleaning products to remove dirt, debris, and germs before it goes out to the next event.

Maintaining clean and safe equipment is extremely important to us. Our team takes pride in delivering inflatables that look great, smell fresh, and are ready for hours of safe fun.

How Long Can You Keep a Bounce House Running?

A.

A bounce house can run safely for many hours as long as the blower remains plugged in and operating properly. The blower continuously pushes air into the inflatable to keep it fully inflated during use. Most bounce house rentals are designed to run throughout the entire event without needing to be turned off.

For longer events such as school festivals, church events, or community gatherings, bounce houses can operate for several hours at a time. Our equipment is commercial-grade and built for extended use. If your event will last most of the day, we can also recommend larger inflatables that are designed for high traffic and continuous play.

Q.

What do you do if the bounce house deflates during your event?

A.

If the blower stops or the air pressure is low, remove all users immediately, and then check on the problem. The electrical cord should be plugged into an outlet and be the only thing operating on that electrical circuit. The blower tube should be tightly tied around the blower hole.

Verify the blower is sitting upright (not on its side) and there is NO debris blocking the air intake on the side of the blower.

Make sure air is not escaping from the blower tube. Verify all zippers are closed and not releasing air.

Circuit breakers should be checked for tripped breakers. If the breaker is tripped remove 1 or more motors from that breaker and plug them into another breaker. In the event we come out because of an issue with your electricity, there will be a $75 service charge.

We service most of Collin County and lots of Dallas and Rockwall counties. We also cover a small part of Denton County.

What forms of payment do you accept?

A.
We accept cash, business checks, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. In order to write a check. we will need to see a government issued identification (drivers license) and there will be a $75 returned check fee for insufficient funds.

At Fun Times Party Rental we are here and waiting for your call. Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 9am till 4pm. We deliver 24hours a day and 7 days a week.

Q.

What are your delivery and pick up policies?

A.

All deliveries are generally made between 7am and 1pm. Our intentions are to have the unit at private residences within 1 hour of your event. Public events (i.e. churches, parks, schools, etc) within 30 mins of your event.

Theses are average times and are in place to compensate for possible delays due to things out side of our control. Pick up times for private parties are from 30 min to 4 hours after the event ends. We will confirm pick up times with you at delivery. For public functions items are picked up immediately after event.

What is your damage policy?

A.
Customer is responsible for Fun Times equipment at point of delivery. There will be an additional charge of $50 to $100 for dirty units(gum, candy, excessive grass, dirt, etc). Silly string causes permanent damages there is a $1000 charge for silly string damage to unit.

What if I do not have power within 100ft?

A.
No power, No problem, we have generators available for rent ask us for details. They offer a perfect solution for renting a jumper without the necessary power.  Our 5000 watt generators are capable of powering 2 motors.  Our 9000 watt generators are capable of powering 3 motors.

What is your bounce house rental cancellation policy?

A.

Easy, give us a call or send us an email. We will work with you to choose another party date if you need to reschedule your bounce house party. We do request that you provide us with:

120 hour (5 day) advance notice for deposit charge only

72 Hour (3 day) advance notice for 50% of rental amount

Anything under 72 hours (3 days) the customer will be charged the full rental price

Any money that has been paid that is due back will be in the form of a raincheck. Fun Times Party Rental does NOT refund money back.

The cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING and emialed to us.  You can also visit our contact page and fill out the form. If you are canceling with 24hours of your event you MUST CALL the office during regular office hours ALSO.

The sooner we know about the need to reschedule the more flexible we can be. There is no charge if you need to reschedule, the sooner we know the more flexible we can be. Fun Times reserves the right to cancel any reservation or portion of a reservation due to Inclement Weather, unsafe, unclean, or unfit area for unit, or any other situation that the company deems dangerous or jeopardizes safety in any way or is not in the best interest of the company or lessees.

NOTE: Any outsourced services such as Entertainers, Animal Farms, Pony Rides, etc. are subject to full payment on cancellations regardless of when we receive your cancellation.

Do you rent to festivals and large events?

A.

Q.

Can Bounce Houses Be Set Up on Grass, Concrete, or Indoors?

A.

Yes! Bounce houses can be safely set up on a variety of surfaces including grass, concrete, asphalt, gym floors, and indoor event spaces. The setup method simply changes depending on the surface.

When a bounce house is placed on grass, it is secured using stakes driven into the ground. For hard surfaces like concrete or indoor floors, sandbags or weighted anchors are used instead. Our team will always choose the safest anchoring method for your location to make sure the inflatable stays secure during your event.

If you are unsure whether your location will work, just let us know when booking and we will help determine the best setup option.

 

Remember:

If your event ends early and is at a public location, please call us immediately so we can try and send our representatives out early. We cannot guarantee someone will be available so you might have to wait until they arrive.

The main rule is parental supervision during jump house rental (or usage). Most incidents in this industry occur from unsupervised bouncers. So grab a chair and watch your children entertain themselves for hours (and they will sleep all night).
